The Unseen Wound

"The Unseen Wound – Story of Crying River" is an emotional and thought-provoking short film that explores hidden pain and healing. Directed by Parag Chhapakar, this project was produced under the banner of Little Rock Picture Co., a U.S.-based production house.

I had the incredible opportunity to work as the First Assistant Director on this meaningful journey. As a 1st AD, my responsibilities included managing the shooting schedule, coordinating between departments, ensuring smooth on-set operations, and helping the director execute their vision efficiently. From pre-production planning to day-to-day shoot execution, I played a key role in maintaining workflow and discipline on set.

It was a truly wonderful team and experience—collaborative, inspiring, and full of learning. I gained valuable insights into handling complex shoot logistics, working under pressure, and building synergy among cast and crew. This project not only sharpened my professional skills but also touched me deeply on a personal level.
